BRITISH RAPPER Stormzy has helped a Harvard student raise the £12,000 she needed to cover the cost of her masters.
The chart-topping wordsmith donated £9,000 to Fiona Asiedu’s crowdfunding campaign for her course in Human Development and Psychology at the prestigious institution.
The campaign was brought to Stormzy’s attention after a friend of Fiona’s asked her followers to retweet their plea to get the rapper’s attention.
It read: “Studying human development and psychology will equip me with the knowledge and skills necessary to generate effective interventions, particularly targeted at young people to uphold health psychological development within this country.”
A donation of £9,000 was later made in the name of Michael Ebenazer Kwadjo Omari Owuo Junior.
SBTV confirmed with Stormzy’s representatives that he had made the very generous donation.
