AYESHA CURRY is expanding her food empire yet again with news she will open a restaurant in San Francisco.
The 28-year-old wife of Warriors MVP point guard Steph Curry is opening International Smoke, a full-service barbecue restaurant in Soma later in 2017, according to SF Eater.
This is just the latest accomplishment for Ayesha, who has launched her own cook book line, a Food Network television show and a pop-up restaurant within the last two years.
The new International Smoke will be a collaboration with Michelin-starred Micheal Mina, whose Mina Test Kitchen took Curry’s global barbecue concept for a test run last year as a wildly popular pop-up.
“My diversity is reflected in the way that I cook,” She said, describing how her Chinese, Jamaican, African-American and Polish heritage inspires her palate. “Barbecue is the perfect way to experiment and indulge in tasting different flavors, cuts of meat and styles of cooking.”
