HE DIT IT!
British rapper Stormzy has secured the No.1 spot on the official UK charts with his debut album, Gang Signs & Prayer.
The south London-born star was neck-and-neck with fellow Brit, Rag’n’Bone Man, for the entire week, but secured the coveted spot after a relentless promotional campaign.
Gang Signs & Prayer captured the top spot with combined chart sales of 69,000, according to Official Charts Company data.
Additionally, Gang Signs & Prayers has racked up the most first-week streams for a Number 1 album in chart history, surpassing the opening week of streaming giant Drake, and even surpassing the first-week streams of the powerhouse that is Justin Bieber and his latest album Purpose.
