CHEWING GUM star and creator Michaela Coel, Broadway star Cynthia Erivo and award-winning rapper Stormzy are among the names listed in Forbes’ Europe 30 Under 30 rundown.
The prestigious list, now in its second year, highlights 300 young innovators, entrepreneurs and leaders across Europe who are under 30 years of age and who are transforming business, technology, finance, media, culture and more.
Michaela, who won two BAFTA Awards last year for her hit E4 series, was profiled as the “accidental actress” in light of her admission that she had never intended to pursue a career in acting.
Michaela’s Chewing Gum co-star Susan Wokuma was also named on the annual rundown.
The 29-year-old is also the star of Crazy Head on E4 and Netflix and has been commissioned to write her own comedy pilot.
Julie Adenuga, who made her debut in the music industry in 2010, when she joined London community radio station Rinse FM, is now the London anchor of Beats 1 radio, the global radio service from Apple Music. On her show,
Julie now works alongside Zane Lowe (in LA) and Ebro Darden (in NYC) on the popular station, which is broadcast worldwide.

Joining them on the coveted rundown is actress Cynthia Erivo, who made her Broadway debut in the revival of The Color Purple and promptly picked up a 2016 Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical Drama for her performance as Celie.
She will be going from the stage to the screen, joining Viola Davis in the thriller, Windows.
In addition, BRIT Award nominees, grime star Stormzy and singer Michael Kiwanuka also landed placements on the rundown.
