BRITISH HIP-HOP artist and educationalist Akala is to release his first children’s book with Oxford University Press.
Hip and Hop: You Can Do Anything follows the adventures of a hippo called Hip and his friend Hop who rap inspirational messages throughout the story.
“Hip raps inspirational rhymes that help his friend Hop to achieve his dream of taking part in the Blueberry Hill bike race,” the book’s description reads. “The story teaches that you can achieve anything if you put your mind to it. Focus on your dreams and go!”
