DRAKE HAS ended 2016 on high after the announcement that his album Views has officially been certified 4x platinum by the RIAA.
The Canadian rapper’s four the studio album, released on May 6 by Republic, Cash Money, and Young Money, was certified gold, platinum, and double platinum on June 9.
By Aug 3, the project went triple platinum and on Dec 1, it earned its latest milestone.
Views not only debuted at the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200, it also remained there for 13 non-consecutive weeks.
It also became the first album to earn more than a billion streams on Apple Music, and was streamed over 3 billion times on Spotify, making Drake the service’s “most-streamed artist of all time”.
