SOUTH LONDON actor turned Hollywood star John Boyega announced that he had wrapped filming the next instalment of hit franchise, Star Wars.
After a nearly-five-month shoot in London’s Pinewood Studios, production on Star Wars Episode VIII finally came to an end on July 22.
“Good lord can’t believe it. A day to do nothing ….I’m freaking out,” the 23-year-old, who won a Rising Star BAFTA for his breakout role of Stormtrooper Finn in the film, wrote on Twitter.
The eighth instalment of the Star Wars movie franchise centers on the story of Rey (Daisy Ridley), Finn (John Boyega), Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac), Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), Leia (Carrie Fisher) and other characters as they fight back the force of the First Order.
