A BRIDE and groom took time out of their special day to ‘share sympathies and condolences’ to those who have lost lives at the hands of police.
Holding up their fists in their official wedding photos, the couple, who are flanked by their bridesmaids and groomsmen, stand in solidarity with the #BlackLivesMatter movement.
“I love, love its such a beautiful thing shared by so many people all over the world,” bride Cassie wrote. “When you see something that speaks hate you must not stay silent I don’t believe in violence but I had to take a moment out of my day to share my sympathies and condolences to everyone who has lost someone due to all of this sillyness #blacklivesmatter #alllivesmatter.”
Groom Karl added: Love moves one to remember their neighbour. I in the past have been a victim of police brutality, so have so many of my peers. We are just fortunate that the UK dosen’t condone all officers being armed.
“Love transcends colour! So this is not a racial incitement. Just a prompt to those who do not agree, that #blacklivesmatter. ‘If the peacekeepers are not peaceful then how can there be peace?”
