BEYONCÉ PAUSED her show in the UK tonight (July 7) to honour the victims of police brutality, fans revealed on social media.
The move comes after two black men, Alton Sterling and Philando Castile, were shot dead in America.
Earlier she released a powerful statement regarding the fatal police shootings of the fathers, who died within a day of each other.
She urged fans to to “take a stand and demand” that “police stop killing us.”
In a later Instagram post, she wrote: “We all have the power to channel our anger and frustration into action.”
Since the release of her video Formation in February, the Grammy Award-winner has drawn praise from her fans and celebrity peers for incorporating messages surrounding race and police brutality into her music.
