TEENAGE OLYMPIC gymnastics hopeful Simone Biles has become the first woman in 42 years to win four consecutive US national titles.

American Joan Moore Snat was the last woman to win four consecutive titles between 1971 and 1974.

The 19-year-old wowed judges with her floor routine at the P&G Women’s Gymnastics Championships in St. Louis on Friday (June 24). It officially reached viral status after being viewed more than 11 million times in just a few days.

Simone may not yet have an Olympic gold under her belt, but she has won pretty much every other top title in the sport in the four years since London 2012 – making her the favorite to become a champion in Rio this summer.

In addition to her national titles, Simone has won the all-around title at the World Championships the last three years running.
