NEW ROLE: Bozoma Saint John

MEET BOZOMA Saint John, Apple’s head of global consumer marketing for Apple Music.

The music executive stole the show at its annual developer conference this week when sharing news about Apple’s streaming music service, which has accumulated 15 million users, according to the company.

Bozoma has built an impressive career around connecting musicians and artists with brands.

She joined Apple through the acquisition of Beats Music, where she was the company’s senior vice president of global marketing.

As a marketer for Beats, she spearheaded collaborations with high-profile brands such as AT&T, Target, Chevrolet, and others.

Prior to her role at Beats, Saint John was the director of music and global entertainment Pepsi Co. North America, and according to Billboard, helped Pepsi sponsor a number of music events including the Grammys, MTV Video Music Awards, IHeartRadio, CMA Awards, and FanFest.

At Pepsi, Bozoma was instrumental in forming relationships for the brand with Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, Katy Perry, Hunter Hayes, and the estate of Michael Jackson.
