ACTRESS MEAGAN Good and husband DeVon Franklin are celebrating news that their debut book, The Wait, has sold over 100,000 copies after just four months.
The book, which the Christian couple co-wrote, is filled with candid his-and-hers accounts of the most important moments of their relationship, and practical advice on how waiting for everything – from dating to sex – can transform relationships, allowing you to find a deep connection based on patience, trust, and faith.
“Look at what GOD DID!!! #TheWait has sold over 100,000 copies! Thank you SO MUCH,” Meagan wrote on Twitter.
Ahead of the book’s release in February, Devon, an entertainment CEO and former Sony Pictures executive, told Global Grind: “[Meagan] was celibate before we got together and I was celibate. [I’ve been celibate] over ten years. What was happening with me is that I would go and preach one thing but I was going and living another and I could not do it.
“I could not look at myself in the mirror. I was like, ‘No, I cannot live like this,’ so I had to stop and say, ‘You know what, until I get married, that’s off the table.”
