BRITISH ACTOR Emmanuel Imani has had a busy 2016.
Having already started in a hit Hollywood movie Criminal alongside Kevin Costner, the south London-born actor has landed the leading role in new web series.
Concealed focuses on nine young, black Londoners in their twenties who are trying to navigate life, love, faith and friendship.
Emmanuel takes on the lead role of Moses who is trying to hold his life together after breaking up with the warm-hearted Alika, to Kara (Mary MJ King).
Concealed is backed by a stellar cast of fast-rising actors including Mary MJ King, Pierre Adenegha-Howell and Nayo Jobson.
Sandra Koree, the show’s writer and creator, hopes her new project will realistically portray the dilemmas that many young, black British Christians face today.
She said: “The show sheds light on the issues that many young adults just like me are facing today. I wrote this because there are tons of web and TV series out there, but none that connect to me as a young Christian woman.”
