BRITISH STUDENT Sheree Miller was crowned Miss Barbados UK 2016 on Saturday (May 7).
The 19-year-old beat off competition from eight finalists to reign supreme in the categories of Picture Perfect, Most Dedicated, Most Sincere, Miss Fitness and took the crown of Miss Barbados UK 2016.
Sheree, who has aspirations of becoming a lawyer, said she hopes her win “would prove to the young women in both the UK and Barbados that anything is possible no matter what the situation ,you just have to think about all of the positive outcomes you could be a part of”.
Former Miss Barbados UK 2016 and business and finance student Victoria Small handed over her crown to Sheree at the ceremony and offered some kind words and advice ahead of her reign.
Karina Jemmott, 24, was crowned the first runner up and Quesha Nicholls, 29 the second runner up.
