Jamelia to star in BBC 1’s Doctors



BRITISH TELEVISION host Jamelia will star in an episode of BBC 1’s Doctors, it has been confirmed.

The 35-year-old, who is a regular panellist on ITV’s hit daytime talkshow, Loose Women, confirmed the news yesterday (April 19).

“So excited about my role in Wednesday’s #BBCDoctors!!! I had so much fun filming it!! #FemmeFatale.”

Jamelia, who rose to prominence via music, stars as Helena Wales, a shameless kiss and tell queen whose story unfolds during next week’s episodes of the medical daytime soap.

Her mischievous character crosses paths with show regular Rob Hollins when the policeman is called to a hotel and finds himself dealing with a drunk and disorderly salesman.

Jamelia’s episode airs tomorrow (April 20) at 1.45pm.

Doctors is a drama series set in a Midlands practice following the lives of the staff and patients.
