UK RAPPER Tinie Tempah sold out London’s Brixton Academy last night (April 16).
The 27-year-old, who was born in neighbouring Peckham, said he was both “humbled and blessed” to “light up my hometown”.
He wrote on Instagram: “Humbled and blessed by the turn out last night the energy was unreal. Over the past few years me and @djcharlesy sold out Koko, Hammersmith, The O2 (twice), Wembley Arena and now BRIXTON! It’s been 6 years since I released my first big song and I’m grateful to all my real fans and supporters that stay riding with me on the rollercoaster of a journey.”
He added: “All I ever wanted to do was light up my hometown and do it big in my city, thank you all for helping me do that.”
