COMPANY founded by young Londoner Jerome ‘Benjart’ got a welcome boost recently when US rapper Rick Ross was spotted wearing a T-shirt and hoodie from his range.
“Ross finally managed to get hold of some Benjart, he’s a lucky guy,” the image of Rick Ross was captioned by the company.
Speaking to website SQ Magazine, Jerome explained how the company, one of the leading underground UK brands, was formed.
“Benjart’s an underground brand started from scratch with no budget or set funding. To be honest I was bored of treading down the high street to pay £40 for a T-shirt that I was likely to see worn by somebody else. I first of all just intended to make clothing for myself, but afterwards it just became the brand it is today.”
