GRIME STAR Kano has landed his first top 10 album with Made In The Manor.
The album, the rapper’s sixth, was released last Thursday (March 3) and entered the Official Chart rundown at No.8, it was announced today (March 11).
“London grime star Kano lands a new personal best on the Official Albums Chart – Made In The Manor gives him his very first Top 10, going straight in at 8,” the officialcharts.com wrote.
Made In The Manor is a a follow-up to 2010’s Method To Madness and serves as an ode to the 30-year-old’s East End roots with a personal and intimate portrayal of inner city England today and features guest appearances from Wiley, Giggs and JME.
Kano came close behind Kendrick Lamar’s surprise new release, Untitled Unmastered, which made it to No.7, his second UK Top 10 album following last March’s chart-topping To Pimp A Butterfly.
