BBK CO-FOUNDER Skepta is building a playground in Nigeria to encourage kids to get active.
The 33-year-old rapper, whose parents hail from the African country, said he wanted the children to “find talents they never knew they had”.
“Gonna keep developing this playground and hope we inspire kids to get into activities and maybe find talents they never knew they had. More life,” he wrote on Instagram today (Feb 28).
In October, the north London-born star, who this week announced he had signed award-winning Canadian rapper Drake to his BBK label, revealed he was building a “dream” home for his dad in Nigeria.
“My parents came to England to give their children a good shot at life,” Skepta wrote.”I’m overly grateful and blessed to build this for them as a thank you.”
He explained: “We bought the land, redirected the water supply and now we’re here.”
The rapper, whose brother is fellow BBK member JME and sister Julie Adenuga, is a presenter on Apple’s Beats 1 radio station, said the picture of the house his dad had once drawn by hand, had “made my day”.
“Different, just different,” he mused.
