MULTIPLE AWARD-winning rapper Drake has signed to Boy Better Know (BBK) , a label founded by north London brothers, Skepta and JME.
The Canadian, who is the has the most No.1 singles on the Billboard Hot Rap Songs chart, made the announcement last night (Feb 24) as he supported MOBO Award-winning rap collective, Section Boyz on stage in east London.
He wrote on Instagram: “The first Canadian signed to BBK. Big up my brudda @skeptagram for life yeah. And my section gunners too.”
Skepta seemingly confirmed the news, by posting a picture of himself wearing a BBK branded t-shirt with Drake’s infamous OVO owl logo.
Exact details of the deal are yet to be announced, but Drake already displayed his love for BBK last fall when he got a tattoo of the label’s insignia.
It was a busy night for the 29-year-old who rushed from a surprise performance at the BRIT Awards with Rihanna to join Section Boyz on stage in Shoreditch.
