WORTH THE WAIT: Meagan and DeVon

YESTERDAY SIGNALLED the start of Marriage Week, a time to celebrate both love and commitment.

Earlier this month, young Hollywood power couple, award-winning actress Meagan Good and husband, entertainment CEO and former Sony Pictures executive, Devon Franklin, released The Wait, a book they co-wrote.

In The Wait, which is already a No.1 bestseller on Amazon, the couple, who married in 2012, candidly share details about their courtship and marriage, and the key to their success.

Filled with candid his-and-hers accounts of the most important moments of their relationship, and practical advice on how waiting for everything – from dating to sex – can transform relationships, allowing you to find a deep connection based on patience, trust, and faith.

Devon told Global Grind: “[Meagan] was celibate before we got together and I was celibate. [I’ve been celibate] over ten years. What was happening with me is that I would go and preach one thing but I was going and living another and I could not do it.

“I could not look at myself in the mirror. I was like, ‘No, I cannot live like this,’ so I had to stop and say, ‘You know what, until I get married, that’s off the table.”

  1. This sounds like it’s full of good advice! I love hearing from successful couples how they actually do it. I also found the techniques shared in this manual to be extremely helpful.
