UK RAPPER Tinie Tempah is currently #DisturbingNigeria and sharing his inspirational journey to his ‘motherland’ with the world.
The Junk Food star’s parents hail from the African country and he recently returned to their country of birth to shed light on life in the villages of the capital of Abuja.
The 27-year-old shared a number of pictures from his journey on social media, many of them tagged children’s charity @unicef_uk.
“Trying to do our little bit,” he captioned an image showing him and manager, Dumi Oburota carrying water back to the village.
“Different countries, different views, different perspectives. Different lifestyles. It’s good to get out of the bubble sometimes,” he wrote on Twitter.
In June, Tinie was crowned the most successful UK rap artist in UK chart history after his single Not Letting Go shot to No.1 in the chart, marking the sixth time he’d managed that feat – the first UK Rap artist in chart history.
