LITTLE SIMZ’ debut album, A Curious Tale of Trials + Persons, has been named one of Vogue’s Best Albums of 2015.
A Curious Tale of Trials + Persons was released through her independent label, AGE: 101 Music in September and followed the release of four mixtapes and five EPs.
The album entered the UK R&B Albums Chart at No.20 and the UK Indie Albums Chart at No.43.
The latest nod comes just one month after the the north London rapper was crowned Best Emerging Live Act of 2015 by ticketing app Dice.
Nominees were voted for by a panel of 100 journalists, promoters, broadcasters, and venues around the UK. Last year’s winners of the the inaugural award were Wolf Alice.
At the time, Little Simz said: “It feels totally surreal to have won this award. Performing in front of that crowd, my last show of 2015, it’s such a high to end the year on. The worldwide tour starts next year, can’t wait.”
