AS NIGERIA celebrates its 55th year of independence today (Oct 1), we list some of the west African country’s young and inspirational exports.

But, we must also pay respect to the elders of  the great nation that gave the world Afrobeats legend Fela Kuti and celebrated poet Wole Soyinka in addition to contemporary heroes like novelist Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, music sensation D’banj and Nollywood superstar Genevieve Nnaji.
